I'm so excited to be working with this amazing couple, Clare and Matt. Not only are they incredibly sweet and fun to be around, they are having their September wedding at one of my favorite Bay Area venues - The Marin Headlands Center for the Arts AND they want to have honest to goodness black and white film shot at their wedding. My first 5 years in business as a wedding photographer were pre-digital (YES, I have been doing what I love for that long.) So, when Clare made the special request that I photograph part of her wedding day with film, I felt excited. I found my favorite black and white film - ILFORD HP5- still available and loaded my old camera body friend for a little test run/engagement shoot this past weekend.
