Dawsons take to the city!

I had the incredible privilege of photographing Amelia and Daniel's stylish San Francisco wedding in 2004. Amelia wore a classic grey tailored women's suit carried a bouquet of San Francisco gorgeous colorful roses, they tied the knot at City Hall and then met their 60 closest friends and family at the trendy RNM for a private dinner and celebration. Fast forward 7 years, a move to Brooklyn and back to the Bay Are and enter Ada, the sweetest little 8 months of love you could imagine. This past weekend, we decided to re-visit their favorite SF neighborhood and create a family album like no other! Blue Bottle Coffee included.

Clare & Matt at Headland Center for the Arts

I'm so excited to be working with this amazing couple, Clare and Matt. Not only are they incredibly sweet and fun to be around, they are having their September wedding at one of my favorite Bay Area venues - The Marin Headlands Center for the Arts AND they want to have honest to goodness black and white film shot at their wedding. My first 5 years in business as a wedding photographer were pre-digital (YES, I have been doing what I love for that long.) So, when Clare made the special request that I photograph part of her wedding day with film, I felt excited. I found my favorite black and white film - ILFORD HP5- still available and loaded my old camera body friend for a little test run/engagement shoot this past weekend. Here are the digital results, film to follow!
