Mark Morford - man of extraordinary talent

This weekend I had the delight and pleasure of photographing one of my favorite people - Mark Morford; irreverent, smart, daring and exceptionally photogenic. In addition to being an extremely talented writer (Keep your eyes peeled for his up-coming book - The Daring Spectacle later this year and of course, his weekly column on SF Gate), Mark also is a talented and popular yoga teacher at San Francisco's Yoga Tree. Here is a small sampling of photos we took yesterday at The Art Institute in North Beach.

Mitizi & Chris at the JW Marriot San Francicso

Working with Mitzi & Chris on their downtown San Francisco wedding was so much fun. We had 2 terrific engagement sessions leading up to the day and on the day of shuttled the wedding party and family to the Botanical Gardens in Golden Gate Park for a fun outdoor portrait session. JW Marriot downtown is a great option for a contemporary San Francisco wedding. With their gorgeous open central atrium, beautiful glass elevators and ballroom you can't go wrong.

Please check out Mitzi & Chris' wedding here.

Julie & Sean married at the Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club

Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club is one of my favorite Bay Area locations add to that a fun, original and delicious wedding like Julie & Sean's and the expert direction of Brittani Waldman for Dream a Little Dream Event and you can't help but WIN. Julie & Sean went for classic and orginal- Having there ceremony in the rustic Mill Valley Community Church and recessing to a string quartet variation of The White Stripes "We're going to be Friends". Julie created the most gorgeous details - invitation, escort cards and menus. Brittani Waldman effortlessly orchestrated the whole day, smiling and excited as usual. Natalie Bowen created flowers for the day that perfectly matched Julie's style-elegant and fun. Finally, the food created by Katie Powers was out of this world!
